Even If You Can’t See It Right Now, With The Right Plan And The Right Support, You Can Move From Where You’re At To Where You Want To Be.
We work with children and youth of all ages — from young children through to adolescents and teens. Our therapists are experienced in meeting young people where they're at, using age-appropriate approaches that feel safe and accessible. Contact us if you're unsure whether your child is ready.
Our child and youth psychologists help with anxiety, depression, school avoidance, self-harm, OCD, ADHD-related challenges, oppositional behaviour, grief and loss, trauma and abuse, social difficulties, gender and identity, and adjustment issues related to divorce or major life changes.
Warning signs include significant changes in mood or behaviour, withdrawing from friends and family, declining grades or school refusal, self-harming behaviours, persistent worry or sadness, nightmares, aggressive outbursts, or talking about not wanting to be alive. When something feels off, early support is always better.
Parent involvement is an important part of the therapeutic process, particularly with younger children. Your child's therapist will discuss what communication and involvement looks like during intake, balancing your child's need for a safe, confidential space with your role as their caregiver.
Yes. In addition to therapy, Wholeness Psychology Centre offers comprehensive psychological assessments for children and youth — including ADHD, Autism, psychoeducational, behavioural, and mental health assessments. Our psychologists work collaboratively with school teams when requested.
