With the experienced therapists at Wholeness Psychology, you are in a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard. We offer individual counselling services, and a range of other counselling and therapy services in a safe space for various mental health issues.

Nicole (Nicky) is a Registered Psychologist with over 12 years experience in the mental health field. She is skilled in both assessments and counselling and has dedicated her life to learning about developmental disabilities. Nicky approaches her time with children, youth, adults and families using a patient, flexible and strength-based perspective.

Nicky is passionate about working with and assessing developmental disabilities such as autism, down syndrome, and cerebral palsy, etc., and providing insight and support with the unique challenges that come with every family. She also has extensive experience working with anger management, education and learning disabilities, emotional disturbance, family conflict, grief, intellectual disability, parenting, peer relationships, and school issues. Whether there are challenges with listening, head banging, hitting, transitions, being told “no”, anxiety, self-esteem, etc... she can help!

Nicky uses a SCERTS model mixed with CBT and play based interventions. She comes from a client centered approach and finds that even though two people can go through the “same” situation, the way they process it is unique to them.

Nicky is available weekdays for phone, video, or in-person sessions at the Wholeness Psychology Sherwood Park office.
