Our Philosophy
Our approach is multifaceted and involves getting to the root, or core, of the experience, and working with several layers simultaneously. In this way, a fuller and clearer picture of what is at play for an individual or couple shines through.
We take a holistic approach and choose from our therapeutic tools when considering your unique needs — no two people are the same, and no two treatment plans are either.
We have a passion for healing, self-transformation and healthy relationships, and we've dedicated our lives to assisting people in all aspects of wellness. We bring an accepting and nurturing presence in our work with individuals, couples and families to support them to heal and transform.
Our Purpose
Our team approaches therapy with two purposes in mind, both essential for self-transformation and long-lasting change.
One: to engage in a healing process — whether it be physical, emotional, or psychological.
Two: to engage in a wholing process — where you access and gather the resources you need to move forward from a place of strength and resilience.

Service Area
It's not uncommon for people to experience a great deal of stress, along with anxiety and depression — and it's not always easy to understand where it's coming from. We find it's important to understand how previous and current personal and work experiences may contribute to the problem.
We use a variety of approaches for healing, such as exploring perspectives and belief systems, shifting processes in emotional patterns and the unconscious, and problem-solving about specific options and situations.
First Responders & Military: The Wholeness Psychology Centre team has extensive experience providing counselling to first responders including current-serving military members, veterans, police officers, fire fighters, and emergency medical personnel — treating all kinds of trauma, including combat trauma, car accidents, sexual assaults, military-related trauma, shootings, past childhood abuse and neglect, and serious illness.

Wholeness Psychology Centre is influenced by psychodynamic and humanistic models. Our team works with those interested in the self-discovery process, often triggered by a life crisis or transition, feeling lost and depressed, or a sense of disconnection from self and others.
Asking "Who am I?" and "Where am I going?" — we explore life purpose and meaning, increase awareness of personal qualities, abilities, and gifts, and empower you to create a more fulfilling life.
We engage in a wholing process — where you access and gather the resources you need to move forward from a place of strength and resilience.

It can be easy to overlook your youth's struggles, considering their experiences to be "normal" or a phase, and leave things to get better on its own. Though this can be true in some cases, problems have a way of getting worse, bigger or even more complicated.
